Summary - Rock Truck Driver
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (specify class if required by your jurisdiction).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating articulated rock trucks or heavy equipment.
- Proven experience operating a CAT 745 or similar articulated dump truck.
- Experience working in construction, mining, quarry, earthworks, pipeline, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and understand site maps, haul routes, and work instructions.
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and site safety procedures.
Certifications
- Heavy Equipment Operator certification (if applicable).
- WHMIS
- First Aid/CPR (asset).
- Ground Disturbance Level II (asset for pipeline/civil projects).
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification (asset, if applicable).
- Site-specific orientation or mine safety training.
Work Schedule
- Willingness to work:
- 10–12-hour shifts
- 14/14 – Day Rotation
- Remote projects and camp work
Pay Range - $35 - $42 / Overtime as per Employment Standards, Shift Premiums
