We are looking for a full-time permanent Mixer to join our growing team!
Heavy Lifting Required: Must be able to regularly lift 40 pounds throughout the shift.
Job Summary:
The Mixer is responsible for measuring, mixing and preparing the dough for production, and is an active participant in the quality assurance program and safety programs of the bakery. *This is a Night Shift Position $1.00 premium added*
Main Duties:
- Weigh and measure all raw ingredients in accordance with Company specifications.
- Perform Pre-Op checklists in an accurate manner.
- Assemble all tools and ingredients required for production.
- Ensure that all ingredients are identified with the correct lot codes.
- Complete batch reports, including all quantities and lot codes of ingredients.
- Record all lot numbers of the product at time of use.
- Comply with all sanitation, food safety, and health and safety programs.
Please note that we DO NOT have part-time positions available.
Qualifications:
- Previous packaging experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
- Bakery or foodservice experience strongly preferred.
- Basic written and oral communication skills (English).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
