Dog Groomer
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to a variety of dog breeds, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle grooming tasks efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of different sizes and coat types
- Trimming and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Cleaning and maintaining grooming tools and equipment
- Assessing each dog’s health and behavior to ensure safe grooming practices
- Providing exceptional customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized grooming area at all times
- Handling heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger dogs onto grooming tables or into tubs
Requirements
- Prior experience in dog grooming is a must
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of different breed standards and grooming techniques is a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality pet care services
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
