Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic LUNCH/DAYTIME Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings to provide excellent customer service
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
