Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, have supervisor experience, have experience in working in Saskatchewan and be committed to creating engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining a positive and organized learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance classroom experiences and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with trends in early childhood education.
Experience
- At least a level 1 or 2 in Early Childhood Education
- Proven experience working with young children in daycares in Saskatchewan.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.06-$30.07 per hour
