Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, hallways, and administrative spaces using proper cleaning techniques and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to established protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other necessary materials to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisory staff for immediate resolution
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply usage for accountability and quality assurance
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures at all times to uphold hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred, especially in commercial or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the use of disinfectants and sanitizers
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in every task performed
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled shifts
