Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Concrete Restoration & Waterproofing Technician to join our growing team. This position involves performing specialized concrete repair, waterproofing, and restoration work on commercial, industrial, and multi-residential projects.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in concrete restoration, takes pride in producing high-quality work, works well in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive job site.
Requirements
- Minimum experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, or a related trade.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding manual labour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Structural concrete removal, repair, and replacement.
- Traffic deck coating installation.
- Concrete surface preparation, including grinding, scarifying, and shot blasting.
- Concrete demolition using hand and power tools.
- Concrete placement, finishing, and patching.
- Waterproofing system installation.
- Operate lifts, mixers, and other construction equipment safely.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, or a related construction field.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction equipment.
- Experience operating aerial lifts and other construction equipment safely.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialized restoration equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
