We are currently hiring for year-round or seasonal Road Maintenance Positions involving Road Painting, Crack Sealing (summer months), and Snow Removal (winter months).
Job Details:
- Position Type: Seasonal & Permanent, Full-time or Part-time
- Shifts: Day and Night shifts; flexibility preferred
- Location: Halifax, NS and surrounding areas
- Employment: Long-term employment opportunity available
Key Responsibilities:
- Road painting and pavement markings (using airless spray equipment)
- Crack sealing and asphalt maintenance
- Snow removal operations (winter)
- General road maintenance duties
- Following established safety procedures and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Requires dependable transportation as hours do not overlap with public transit.
- Previous construction or related industry experience
- Highway Safety Traffic Course certification
- Traffic Control experience
- Experience with airless spray equipment
- Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake endorsement
