Danforth Neurology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our group of neurologists (one full time, three part-time). We are a general neurology practice that assesses and follows patients with headache, dementia, seizures, Parkinson's disease and other neurologic conditions.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with neurology, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in assisting with nerve blocks and Botox injections is an asset.
Qualifications:
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Registration in the Extended Class (EC) as a NP required
- Completion of a Master's degree required
Job Description
- Work Monday to Thursday (4 days a week, schedule may be flexible)
- Collaborate with our neurologists on patient consultations and follow-ups
- Document encounters on our EMR (paperless clinic), including medical history, current symptoms, vitals, neurologic examination, assessments and treatment plans.
- Independently provide routine patient follow-up and support.
Local candidates are preferred. Fluency in English is required.
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
