Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Experience
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Experience with meal preparation, kitchen operations, or working in the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant workflows and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety will be beneficial
- Previous experience working with a team in a fast-paced environment is a plus
