Sentinel Roofing Ltd. is a full-service roofing contractor completing quality projects for commercial and industrial clients throughout Alberta. We are looking to hire an individual who will contribute to our team of dedicated personnel by bringing their experience and enthusiasm to every project.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews all necessary documents, Blueprints, specifications, drawings, addendums in preparation for pricing
- Preparing RFI’s for clarification of bid documents
- Preparing takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs
- Preparing and following-up on quotations and tenders
- Reviewing all contracts and accepted quotations
- Assisting Production or Service with preparing prices for extras or credits
- Assist with daily production operations as required in the description of work.
- Maintain client relations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required success
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in project estimating including an end to end tendering experience
Education:
- An Architectural Technology Diploma or Estimating Certificate would be considered an asset
Skills:
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings & specifications and contract documents
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experienced in using computer programs specific to this role (MS Office, Adobe, PlanSwift, etc.)
- Experience using Buildingconnected
- Adaptable and flexible in nature to meet deadlines
- Professional, motivated to learn and a career-minded individual
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
