Job Description
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented cleaners to join our Airbnb cleaning team.
Cleaning projects are posted through our scheduling app whenever a property requires service. Available cleaners can review and accept projects on a first-come, first-served basis. This position is best suited for someone with a flexible schedule who is comfortable travelling to different properties in Calgary.
Most cleanings take place between guest check-out and check-in, typically between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Check-out time is usually 11am, and check-in is 4pm. Cleaning has to be done by 3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Clean and reset Airbnb properties between guest stays
- Replace and prepare bedding, linens, and towels
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Empty garbage and remove any items left by guests
- Restock toiletries and other guest supplies
- Check the property for damage or missing items
- Take required completion photos through the scheduling app
- Report damage, maintenance issues, or low supplies promptly
- Ensure the property is fully ready before the next guest’s check-in
Requirements
- Previous residential, hotel, or Airbnb cleaning experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to complete accepted projects on time
- Ability to work independently and follow a detailed cleaning checklist
- Smartphone with access to mobile apps
- Reliable transportation to properties throughout Calgary
- Availability during daytime turnover hours, including some weekends
- Ability to carry cleaning supplies, laundry, and other necessary items
- Good communication skills
Important Information
- Cleaning projects are offered based on property bookings
- Projects are accepted through our app on a first-come, first-served basis
- Cleaners may choose which available projects they want to accept
- There are no guaranteed weekly hours
- Once a project is accepted, the cleaner is responsible for completing it within the assigned time
- Consistent, high-quality work may lead to more frequent opportunities
