Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Collision Shop Manager to oversee daily operations within our automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess dealership and mechanic experience, along with strong leadership skills. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Collision Shop Manager will also be responsible for sales and upselling services to maximize shop profitability while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the collision repair team, including technicians and support staff, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship
- Coordinate repair schedules, prioritize jobs, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs, estimates, and timelines
- Oversee the inspection process to ensure repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations
- Manage parts ordering, inventory control, and shop supplies to optimize operational efficiency
- Upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate to enhance customer value and shop revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial activities
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies
Experience
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, providing a strong foundation in automotive sales and repair processes
- Proven mechanic experience with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and retention
- Experience in automotive repair sales, including upselling techniques to increase revenue opportunities
- Previous management or supervisory experience in an automotive or collision repair environment is desirable
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial record keeping is advantageous

Pay: $47,711.27-$80,000.00 per year
