We are seeking a Independent Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant to serve the Halton and Hamilton-Wentworth regions. This is a remote, contract, commission-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Make contact with leads provided by showroom personnel
- Schedule and attend in-home consultation with perspective client
- Take and record accurate measurements and notes of project space
- Determine needs and expectations of client
- Create and label preliminary designs, to be quoted by showroom personnel
- Present quotation to client
- Meet with client in-showroom to review design and make selections
- Make required changes to design
- Present purchase agreement, final design and subsequent contracts to client
- Follow-up on project developments with client
- Meet installer at project site to review design and execution
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years kitchen design experience
- Proficient use of 2020 Design program
- Active 2020 Design license
- Ability to take accurate measurements
- Reliable automobile
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Great attention to detail
Compensation:
- Initial design fee (relative to project type)
- Commission on sale of project, This position does not offer salary.
- 10% of the sale of cabinetry & accessories
- 5% of the sale of countertops & quartz/granite backsplash
