Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. The RDH will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting the dental team, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting oral health. Bilingual skills and experience with pediatric patients are a plus, as is familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health of patients.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including taking radiographs and applying topical anesthetics.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
- Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Support orthodontic treatments when applicable, including patient education on appliance care.
- Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and address their specific dental needs.
- Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations and excellent patient service.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred; experience with dental assisting or customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
