Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Building Superintendent to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our building facilities. Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of building maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), low voltage systems, and industrial equipment.
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and projects.
- Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset histories.
- Develop and manage project schedules for renovations or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards through regular inspections.
- Lead emergency response efforts in case of incidents or system failures, coordinating with emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in building operations or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial facilities is a plus.
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge with experience working on HVAC systems, electrical systems (including low voltage), and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
- Experience using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams successfully.
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members, vendors, and emergency services.
- Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe environment.

Pay: $35,200.00-$70,805.46 per year
