Position: Linux Desktop Engineer
Client: Private Sector Technology Company
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 - 12 Months initially, potential for Contract to Hire
Background: Kyndryl are seeking a Linux Desktop Engineer to design and support the MacBook computing platform, ensuring reliable development environments.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with macOS endpoint management and Linux toolchain support
- Docker/containerization expertise
- Experience with MDM platforms
- Skilled in Automation scripting (bash/Python)
- HP hardware familiarity preferred
Expected Tasks:
- Own macOS image/configuration baseline and patching.
- Deploy standard endpoint security and management apps.
- Enable Linux-based workflows (containers, virtualization).
- Automate build and support processes with cross-functional teams.
