Registered Nurse
Rare Nursing Contract for the Right Person

Working within clearly defined clinical boundaries, supported by our Medical Director and our team of psychedelic practitioners, you will be part of a team offering grounded, professional support to clients who have struggled with the symptoms of mental health and are seeking relief through Ketamine Assisted Therapy..
Unlike traditional medicines, Ketamine increase vulnerability, openness and cognitive connections. This requires a different mindset from working with patients in a traditional clinical environment.

- Confirming the secure handling, storage, and administration of prescribed medicines for each session.
- Verifying the five rights of medication administration (right patient, right drug, right dose, right route, right time).
- Supervising client self-administration of sublingual Ketamine and any other medications as directed by the Medical Director.
- Providing a non-directive, supportive presence during sessions, ensuring trauma-informed care.
- Conducting post-session assessments of vital signs to confirm medical stability prior to discharge.
- Acting in the role of Psychedelic Practitioner, leading or co-leading sessions where appropriate.
- Documenting client experiences for both the client file and for the client's use.
Oversight and Leadership
In your role, you will:
- Ensure compliance with the Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy Standards (PAPS), the Mental Health Services Protection Regulation, and CPSA expectations.
- Participate in the development of critical incident reports, client safety concerns, and quality assurance indicators, escalating issues to the Medical Director or Owner as required.
- Support continuous improvement by implementing inspection recommendations and quality assurance policies.
