Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Maintenance Planner/Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our onsite Mining operations by coordinating maintenance activities and managing warehouse inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and knowledge of long hole drilling inventory requirements , along with a solid understanding of mining maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic mining environment, supporting both maintenance planning and inventory to optimize plant performance. This job requires a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation.
Duties
- Develop and schedule maintenance work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and management to prioritize work tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts, various tools, bits and tooling supplies onsite in the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment.
- Support the organization of warehouse storage areas for safety, accessibility, and efficiency.
- Assist in supervision and maintenance personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory transactions, and project progress for reporting purposes.
- Support management in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing plant operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, tracking and inventory control
- Knowledge of ordering various parts related to long hole mining
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing inventory and scheduling tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in English communication skills—both written and verbal—is essential for documentation and team coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance.
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence within our onsite functions by integrating technical expertise with effective maintenance practices.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
