About the Role
Inchol Solutions is looking for a full-time Support Specialist based in Toronto or the surrounding area to provide professional support to our clients, internal teams, and event staff across Eastern Canada.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in customer service, client communication, technical support, video cameras, photo cameras, networking, and general organization. The successful candidate should be comfortable supporting clients in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting technical issues, working live events, and helping teams stay organized before, during, and after events.
You will help with customer service, technical troubleshooting, event preparation, media workflows, equipment support, documentation, live event support, and general support operations.
Responsibilities
The Support Specialist will assist with:
- Providing professional support to clients, event directors, staff, and team members
- Communicating clearly through phone, email, chat, and internal support channels
- Troubleshooting video, photo, audio, networking, and computer-related issues
- Supporting media teams and event staff before, during, and after events
- Working at live events when required, including providing on-site support, assisting with setup, operating or supporting media workflows, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure event operations run smoothly
- Travelling to events across Canada when required to support clients, teams, and event operations
- Helping set up, test, and organize cameras, laptops, networking equipment, and related media gear
- Reviewing event workflows and making sure proper procedures are followed
- Keeping support notes, equipment details, and event documentation organized
- Assisting with training, onboarding, and quality control
- Helping identify issues early and reporting them clearly to management
- Supporting weekend events when required during busy periods
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to deal with clients in a professional and respectful manner
- Experience with video cameras, photo cameras, or live event media equipment
- Basic knowledge of computer networking, including routers, switches, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and connection troubleshooting
- Strong computer skills, especially with Windows laptops and general software troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to follow checklists, procedures, and event instructions
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Willingness to learn DanceComp Genie systems, workflows, and procedures
- Flexibility to change work shifts and work weekends when required
- Ability and willingness to work live events and travel across Canada when required for events, training, or on-site support
Nice to Have
The following experience is helpful but not required:
- Experience with dance competitions, sports events, live events, or production environments
- Experience with photo workflows, tethering, file transfers, uploads, and media delivery
- Experience with audio/video equipment, HDMI, SDI, capture cards, switchers, or streaming systems
- Experience with TeamViewer, remote support, Discord, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar tools
- Basic knowledge of NDI, Dante, or live streaming
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to nearby events
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
