Western Archrib has been a leader in the design, manufacture, and custom fabrication of glued-laminated structural wood systems since 1951. We are currently looking to fill an Administrative Coordinator position at our Boissevain facility, who will be responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of goods and services for the Boissevain operation, while providing payroll and accounts payable administrative support. This role is the key point of contact between operations requestors, purchasers, and the finance team.
Location: Boissevain, Manitoba
Shift: 8:00 am-5:00 pm M-F
Role Responsibilities:
- Receive and submit purchase requisitions from operations requestors, confirming proper authorization and coding to the purchasing team.
- Follow up on outstanding deliveries with the assigned purchaser.
- Verify receipts against purchase orders and packing slips, and report any discrepancies to the purchaser.
- Collect, review, and submit time and attendance records for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Code, match, and enter supplier invoices against purchase orders and receipts, and prepare them for approval and payment.
- Reconcile local statements, investigate discrepancies, and respond to payroll and accounts payable inquiries.
- Maintain accurate employee files.
- Maintain and reconcile monthly petty cash and credit card statements.
- Provide general health, safety, and HR administrative support.
- Provide general administrative support to the Boissevain operation, including correspondence, filing, and record keeping.
- Coordinate courier shipments and mail runs.
- Generate COC and Warranty documents when requested.
Role Requirements:
- Active and proficient use of AI applications. Proactive engagement and adoption of new AI tools, approaches and workflows as the technology landscape evolves.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, accounting, or a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience in purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, or administrative support, preferably in an operations or industrial setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting or ERP software, with strong data-entry accuracy.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and passport.
