Precision HVAC Helper
We are looking for an HVAC Helper to join our Precision Team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
HVAC CORE COMPETENCIES
- Installation capabilities associated with various heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems
- Able to accurately diagnose the cause of problems and/or failures in either heating or air conditioning and ventilation systems so as to assess and identify equipment and/ or systems repair
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate their condition as needed
- Identify necessary repairs and recommend preventative maintenance upon inspection
- Install/repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or their components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, furnaces, c/c units, piping, etc.)
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial rooftop systems
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order
- Transport equipment, tools and supplies to and from job sites when required
- Read and interpret shop drawings and control schematics
- Be safety conscious
- Inform management and/or team regarding status of work orders – repair status, updating activity log etc.
- Perform any other duties, deemed necessary that may arise and are assigned
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
- Gas Fitter 3 or Gas Fitter 2 License, valid and issued by T.S.S.A.
- Air Conditioning & Refrigeration License
- Ozone Depletion certification (ODP)
- WHIMIS and Fall Arrest
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License – a driver’s abstract is to be submitted once an interview is scheduled for confirmation

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
