Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and providing exceptional administrative support across various office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with QuickBooks software, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks and other company software
- Perform data entry with high accuracy, including invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
- Maintain organized filing in SharePoint for financial documents, client records, and administrative files
- Assist the President, CFO, and other staff as needed with customers, office, or vendor issues
- Provide support through phone and email correspondence with professional phone etiquette
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing reports, and maintaining office supplies
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication within the office via phone, Teams, and email
Experience
- Proven bookkeeping and administrative with a minimum of two years of experience in an office environment
- Familiarity with QuickBooks bookkeeping software is required; experience with digital record keeping (i.e., SharePoint) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is essential
- Prior bookkeeping experience in a trade services business is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent typing speed and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documents and data entry tasks
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional customer service via phone and in person
Education
- Preference to applicants with an accounting diploma or higher education.
Pay: $52,000.00-$62,400.00 per year
