Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with plating and garnishing of dishes before service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring smooth workflow
- Stock and restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with serving, food industry practices, and restaurant procedures is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment as needed
