Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service
- Support the serving staff by preparing ingredients and plating dishes as needed
- Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Help with meal assembly and portioning according to recipes and standards
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies to prevent contamination
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Support the team during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen support roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with meal preparation and serving procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the kitchen clean and stocked
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable
