Overview of the role:
Saputo Inc. is seeking an IT Vice President, PMO for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the SVP, IT, Global Services and Regional Support, the IT Vice President, PMO is a senior IT leadership role responsible for elevating the performance, value, and maturity of Saputo’s established global IT Project Management Office (PMO).This role will also lead large-scale enterprise transformation programs, including the SAP S/4 upgrade and deployment and projects supporting Saputo’s digital agenda, while modernizing PMO practices through the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced portfolio management tools. The incumbent will ensure consistent, outcome-driven execution across a complex global project portfolio, enabling business strategy and delivering measurable value.
The scope of the IT PMO includes responsibility for the Global IT project portfolio, project management practice, organization change management, and the IT testing and release management functions.
The candidate will be a dynamic department leader, developing their team, operational practices and evolving day to day process, as well as being a seasoned Delivery Executive, having the ability to shape, mobilize and lead the most complex transformation programs. The candidate is at ease with establishing diverse business and IT relationships, leveraging their business and IT acumen to partner across the organization. As part of our largest programs, the candidate will act as a change leader, engaging business stakeholders in their sponsorship roles.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Lead and evolve the global PMO into a high-performing, data-driven organization, leveraging AI, automation, and digital tools
Shape and lead complex programs, including the global SAP S/4 upgrade and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
Act as a change leader nurturing sponsorship through the organization
Establish and strengthen enterprise governance, methodologies, and standards for project and program delivery
Drive portfolio prioritization, demand management, and investment optimization across IT and business initiatives
Develop IT PMO skills within and outside the IT PMO department to ensure predictable delivery across the enterprise.
Partner with Business PMOs across the enterprise
Build executive-level reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to enable real-time decision-making and clearly demonstrate value delivered
Lead cross-functional change management, including training, communication, and organizational readiness activities
Ensure quality assurance, testing strategies, and release governance are fully integrated into the delivery lifecycle, while continuing to drive value through test automation and continuous improvements

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field
15+ years of progressive experience in IT program/project management, including large ERP and Digital transformations
10+ years in senior leadership roles managing global teams and complex portfolios
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and vendor contracts
For candidates based in Quebec: fluency in both French and English is required, as the role involves regular communication with a diverse group of stakeholders
Nice to have: PMP, ITIL and/or Six Sigma certification
