Overview
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Cutting Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating concrete cutting equipment safely and efficiently on commercial, industrial, and residential job sites.
Duties
- Operate wall saws, slab saws, core drills, hand saws, and wire saws
- Perform concrete cutting, coring, and demolition work according to project specifications
- Read and interpret site drawings and measurements
- Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation at all times
- Follow all company and site safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a crew
- Complete daily job reports and communicate with supervisors and clients professionally
Skills
- Previous experience in concrete cutting and coring required
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices
- Experience with hydraulic and electric cutting equipment
- CSTS, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications considered an asset
