We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. Duties
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including ATV's, motorcycles, SXS's, lawnmowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, and part replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct welding and electrical repairs as needed to restore equipment functionality
- Heavy lifting of engine components and equipment during repairs or installations
- Maintain detailed service records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, estimates, and service recommendations
- Assist in inventory management of parts and tools required for repairs
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with small engines or automotive repair preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics is highly desirable
- Experience with welding, power tools, and hand tools required
- Background in automotive or outdoor power equipment repair is advantageous
- Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during service visits
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality service. Candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and equipment while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Pay: $18.20-$28.00 per hour
