Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly Pay

MGR Workforce is currently hiring a Confined Space Safety Watcher for an active project located on Lemieux Island in Ottawa. Workers will report to the designated pier location each morning and will be transported to the island worksite.
This is a long-term daytime opportunity with steady hours for candidates who have valid confined space certification and strong attention to safety procedures.
- Monitor workers entering and exiting confined spaces
- Maintain constant communication with workers inside confined spaces
- Ensure confined space procedures and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Track entry and exit logs accurately
- Remain alert and ready to respond to emergencies
- Assist with site setup and general safety-related duties as required
- Work closely with supervisors and rescue personnel
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Valid Confined Space Certification
- Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to the designated pier meeting location
- Ability to work outdoors and around construction environments
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Previous construction or industrial experience is considered an asset
- Full-time Monday to Friday schedule
