About Panda Pilates
Panda Pilates is a premium Reformer Pilates studio in downtown Toronto. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and sales-focused team member to manage the front desk, prepare café beverages, and maintain a clean, polished studio environment.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong customer service, confidence in sales, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the studio independently.
- Greet clients and manage check-ins, bookings, waitlists, and account inquiries.
- Sell memberships, class packages, retail, and café products.
- Prepare coffee, protein shakes, teas, and other café items.
- Process payments and operate the POS system accurately.
- Answer phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Clean and maintain the studio, café, reformer rooms, washrooms, equipment, and common areas.
- Reset rooms between classes and restock supplies.
- Complete opening and closing checklists.
- Keep the studio organized, stocked, and presentation-ready at all times.
- Handle client concerns professionally and cover last-minute shifts when needed.
Requirements
- Prior Reformer Pilates experience is required.
- Must live within approximately 20 minutes of the Toronto studio to allow for last-minute shift coverage.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable cleaning all areas of the studio as part of the role.
- Comfortable using booking software, computers, and POS systems.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
Preferred Experience
- Previous barista or café experience is a strong asset.
- Previous sales experience.
- Experience using Mindbody or other fitness studio software.
- Experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail.
