Parts sales and delivery
Without the strength of our Service and Parts team, we wouldn't be able to provide the responsive support and industry-leading service our customers depend on. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales and Delivery Representative to support our growing operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, parts sales, inventory management, and delivery coordination within the transportation, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
This position plays a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right parts and service solutions quickly and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships and supporting the day-to-day operations of our Sales Department.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries, pricing, availability, and recommendations.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently through phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Coordinate and complete deliveries and pickups of parts, supplies, and equipment as required.
- Maintain inventory levels through stock monitoring, ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and materials.
- Assist Service Technicians and Mechanics by sourcing and supplying required parts in a timely manner.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and related documentation for customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts and audits.
- Ensure the parts department and storage areas remain organized, clean, and safe.
- Promote additional products and services that may benefit customers and support business growth.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating company vehicles and equipment.
- Support other departmental functions as required to meet operational needs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in parts sales, customer service, inventory control, or a related role.
- Experience within the transportation, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of heavy truck, trailer, construction equipment, or mechanical components is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience using inventory management systems and computer software programs.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Desire to grow and continue learning within the industry.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
- Combination of shop, warehouse, yard, and office environments.
- Frequent driving to customer and supplier locations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and yard work.
- Overtime as required to support business operations.
