- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project pricing and timelines.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and services.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary based on changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances.
- Assist in the preparation of bid documents and presentations for potential clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in Trimble is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and secure favorable terms.
