Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property, ensuring tenant satisfaction, completing move-ins and move-outs, scheduling the maintenance staff, and managing administrative tasks. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for residents.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance needs.
- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversee leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, payments, and property expenses.
- Develop and implement community events to foster resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors for property maintenance services while ensuring quality work is performed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Proficiency in property management software is a plus (Yardi).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act.

Experience:
- Administrative: 3 years (required)
