VỊ NAM Kitchen is a modern Vietnamese restaurant dedicated to delivering authentic flavors and a warm dining experience. We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Kitchen Helper/Prep Cook to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. No experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate!
Responsibility
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring spices.
- Assist cooks with food preparation and cooking according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Support with setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to keep service smooth and efficient.
Experience and Skills
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen work is an asset but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
