The Inside Sales Representative is committed to providing exceptional customer experience and engage with customers to understand their needs. This role involves identifying leads, meeting customer requirements, and efficiently executing orders. This position is based out of our Saskatoon branch and will be responsible for administrative duties as well.
What you will bring:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
- Experience with pipe, valves, and fittings, sales capacity is an asset.
- Previous experience in the oil field & projects supply, or fabrication industries is an asset.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset.
- Post-secondary/technical certificate would be an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational ability, the capacity to plan, organize, and manage tasks.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug and alcohol)
What you will do:
- Greet callers and visitors professionally and promptly and direct their inquiries
- Meet customers’ requirements when promised in an effective and professional manner.
- Maintain effective filing systems and ensure all paperwork is accurate and accessible.
- Manage customer issues and service to corporate standards.
- Efficiently execute orders, store processes for the customer.
- Assess the need and quote the product requirements
- Picking, shipping, and receiving, load/unload trucks, customer deliveries, order entry, and invoicing.
- Create customer loyalty by providing an environment where customers plan to use and perceive TS&M Supply as their preferred supplier.
- Continuously maintain excellent product knowledge on TS&M Supply product lines.
- Participate in physical inventory including communicating on discrepancies.
- Demonstrate and promote a safe work environment for all employees, customers, vendors and other TS&M Supply partners, using company safety policies and procedures.
- Be an effective team player, and able to work independently, along with the willingness to take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
- Ensure all actions are aligned with TS&M Supply Operating Values.
- Promote positive working relationships with TS&M Supply Vendors
- Prioritize and handle other duties within the branch as required.
