Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stone Polisher/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will fabricate, polish, and finish natural and engineered stone products, including quartz, granite, marble, and porcelain countertops. Attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work safely are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and polish granite, quartz, marble, and porcelain countertops.
- Operate stone fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, polish, and finish stone to customer specifications.
- Perform edge profiling, sink cutouts, faucet holes, and miter fabrication.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and production layouts.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Repair minor chips, scratches, or imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving stone slabs and finished products.
- Work collaboratively with the fabrication and installation teams to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stone fabrication or polishing is preferred.
- Experience working with quartz, granite, marble, and porcelain.
- Ability to operate fabrication equipment, polishers, bridge saws, CNC machines, and other shop tools (training provided if required).
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
