Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in hotel cleaning, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is used safely and properly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests courteously and promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques or hotel cleaning standards is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and handle cleaning supplies responsibly
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
