Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with manufacturing equipment, assembly, and warehouse operations is highly valued. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Operate various manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to set up and adjust machines as needed.
- Monitor production processes, ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs or escalate complex problems to maintenance teams.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or other warehouse equipment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and machine performance logs.
- Follow safety procedures consistently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
