Artina’s Jewellery, a premier destination for handcrafted Canadian jewellery located in the heart of Victoria, is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team.
We specialize in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces created by talented Canadian and Indigenous artists. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates craftsmanship, storytelling, and meaningful customer connections.
The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience, assisting customers in finding the perfect piece, and maintaining the visual and operational standards of our boutique.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, attentive customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Educate customers on the story, materials, and artists behind each piece
- Assist with sales, product selection, and styling recommendations
- Maintain store presentation, displays, and cleanliness to a high standard
- Support inventory management, tagging, and restocking
- Operate POS system accurately and efficiently
- Contribute to achieving individual and store sales goals

- Passion for jewellery, art, fashion, or Canadian craftsmanship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and polished appearance
- Sales-driven with a natural ability to connect with customers
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
