Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role located in Victoria, BC.
Finishing carpentry and project management skills required.
The Carpenter will perform daily tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities also include ensuring precision in execution, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to a team-oriented work environment. Projects are primarily located in Greater Victoria and the Saanich Peninsula.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry techniques
- Ability to run jobs
- Minimum 5 years of experience, 10 years preferred
- Skill in using Hand Tools and Power Tools for construction and renovation projects
- Experience in Framing and understanding of structural construction principles
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety standards
- First Aid training is an asset
- Previous experience in high-end construction projects is an asset
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in carpentry are an asset
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
