Fencing Foreman

Universal Fence is a growing commercial fencing contractor serving clients across Western Canada in oil & gas, infrastructure, mining, and government projects.
We are looking for a hands-on Fencing Foreman to lead our installation crews and help deliver high-quality fencing systems safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Lead a crew installing commercial and industrial fencing systems
Perform hands-on installation including:
Chain link fencing
Guardrail systems
Security fencing
Gates and access systems
Conduct site layout and stringline setup
Drill post holes using skid steer equipment
Set posts, pour concrete, and install fencing components
Run daily safety meetings and enforce safety procedures
Ensure productivity and quality targets are met
Communicate with management and clients regarding job progress
What We’re Looking For
Required
5+ years fencing or construction installation experience
Leadership experience supervising field crews
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
Willingness to travel for project work

What We Offer
$30 – $40 per hour depending on experience
Overtime after 44 hours
40–55 hours per week
Company truck for job sites
Fully equipped trucks and tools
LOA for out-of-town work
4% vacation pay
Work Schedule
7:00 AM start at the shop
Field work locally and remotely depending on projects year round.
Out-of-town rotation depending on project schedule
