We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced bartenders and servers to join our team at Gabbys, located near Square One. If you have a passion for hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of serving or bartending experience in Canada
- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Weekend and late-night availability required
- Living nearby and open availability are strong assets
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage guests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area
- Handle payments and operate the POS system
- Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Monitor guest behavior and promote a safe, enjoyable atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or bartending
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with POS and cashiering procedures
- Understanding of food and beverage safety standards
