Reporting: Reports to the General Manager
Role: The Boot Maker Associate will work in different departments pending on the skills/abilities to put together boots described in the work instructions.
Main Duties:
On-the-job training will be provided to meet required expectations in the area that is best suited for the individual:
o Sort/carry/organize hides for processing.
o Die-cut leather, insoles, sock liners, and other parts for the product.
o Glue parts onto the product.
o Work with rubber product to create parts for product.
o Operate lasting equipment, eyelet machine, and grinding wheels for roughing and or trimming.
o Operate injection machine when fully trained.
o Glue parts onto the product.
o Clean and organize storage rooms.
o Examine materials/products for quality while operating equipment to accurately form product to specifications.
o Complete production reports as required.
o Troubleshoot and report minor maintenance and repairs on equipment as comfortable.
o Cleaning rooms, equipment, and tools.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
