About the Job
We are looking for a Mechanic Helper to join our in-house truck repair shop.
We operate a private fleet of about 150 semi trucks and trailers.
This job is only for our own fleet — no outside customer work.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn truck mechanics and grow in the diesel industry.
What You Will Do
- Assist mechanics with truck and trailer repairs
- Help with basic maintenance work
- Change parts, clean parts, and prepare tools
- Help with oil changes and inspections
- Assist with tires, brakes, and shop duties
- Keep shop clean and organized
- Move trucks in and out of bays when needed
What We Are Looking For
- Some experience in a shop or mechanical work is an asset
- Interest in diesel trucks / heavy-duty vehicles
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful attitude
- Able to follow instructions
- No certification required
