Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operator and maintain equipment
Working outside in all weather conditions
Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
Completing a variety of safety, customer and company documents, such as: pre and post trip, inspections, job reports and field level hazard assessments
Provide guidance to laborers as required
Observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
Qualifications
Valid and clean Class 3 license required; however, Class 1 would be an asset
Ability to operator manual transmission trucks is required
Minimum 1 year experience on a Vacuum / Hydrovac Truck is required
Pressure truck experience an asset
CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid certificates are required
Confined Space, Ground Disturbance certificates are assets
Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs +
Must be within a 45min drive to our yard
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Excellent verbal communication skill
Enjoy working outdoors, the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
