Overview
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator and Mini Excavator specialist to join our erosion control and landscaping team. We are in Environmental and Landscape construction and are looking for people to grow with our company. You will be part of a team installing erosion blankets, silt fences, hydro-seeding and GCL's. Safety boots are required, and applicant must have a valid license and vehicle. There is an an opportunity for salary starting at 80k a year or higher if the right candidate works out. Prior experience with Skidsteer and mini excavator operation is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers, mini excavator and be able to tow trailer
- Assist with erosion control measures and landscaping tasks as directed
- Perform site preparation activities including grading, trenching
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly
- Follow project plans and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment usage
- Proven experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and towing trailers
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials when necessaryThis role is vital for the successful execution of our erosion control and landscaping projects. We seek motivated professionals committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.
Pay: $300.00-$400.00 per day
