We are seeking a friendly and attentive Counter Attendant to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders or inquiries
- Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Prepare and serve food, beverages, or products as per company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
- Restock supplies and ensure all items are properly displayed for customer convenience
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or reaching as needed
- A friendly attitude, reliability, and a professional appearance are essential
- Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations
