Seeking a part-time female support worker for 4-10 hours a week. Shifts are in the evenings and weekends based on scheduling availability. A support worker is required for an adult woman with a disability in her family home (North Nanaimo) and in community, who enjoys movies, reading, shopping, games, and baking.
Qualifications:
-Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, personal care needs, or community support is preferred
-Comfortable providing personal care, including toileting and bathing support
-Experience with lifts, transfers, and mobility equipment is an asset
-Valid First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
-Valid BC Driver's Licence is REQUIRED
-Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
-Reliable, respectful, and dependable
