Pharmacy Support Specialist – (Remote)

A client of ours is seeking a Pharmacy Support Specialist to join their growing team. This full-time remote position plays an important role in helping pharmacies deliver exceptional patient care through accurate and efficient prescription processing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Central Fill-eligible Auto Refills, supporting pharmacy teams across multiple locations, and ensuring a high standard of service for patients and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to the Team Experience
- Minimum 3 years using Kroll Pharmacy Management System (data entry, PEI billing practices, reporting).
- Minimum 3 years in a retail pharmacy environment.
Skills
- Fast, accurate, and efficient data entry and processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft platforms.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with the PEI formulary.

Key ResponsibilitiesCentral Fill Processing
- Accurately and efficiently process a high volume of prescriptions, faxes, auto refills and other sources using Kroll.
- Transmit daily orders from participating pharmacies for packaging and fulfillment.
- Monitor prescription enrollment and complete enrollments as required.
Pharmacy Support
- Respond promptly to inquiries from pharmacy teams and patients regarding Central Fill prescription processing.
- Maintain service levels that support an exceptional patient experience.
- Assist with inbound pharmacy communications and remote data entry functions.
Program Support
- Set up patients for Care Plans, Auto Fill programs, and other organizational initiatives.
- Schedule appointments for eligible pharmacy services.
- Support pharmacy programs, clinics, project rollouts, and operational initiatives.
Collaboration and Operations
- Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy teams, managers, and operational support staff.
- Assist with monitoring project implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support phone queues and other administrative functions as required.
Compliance and Professional Standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and health records.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with privacy legislation, professional standards, and organizational policies.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and respectful team environment.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the organization.
