Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Experience with dealership service, welding, and schematics is highly desirable. The Auto Mechanic will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our fleet and customer vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications
- Read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, and technical diagrams for accurate troubleshooting
- Assemble parts and components following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- 3+ years mechanic experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Bilingual French & English
